RWE Goes Live with its ServiceNow Platform. It’s Time to Celebrate.
RWE is a German electric utilities company based in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia with around 60.000 employees worldwide. It is one of Europe’s five leading electricity and gas companies supplying over 16 million electricity customers and nearly eight million gas customers with energy. RWE recorded a €48,5 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2014.
Aspediens supported the company in their global implementation of a ServiceNow platform managing Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Request, Service catalog and SLAs. Following a pilot roll-out in Czech Republic, the platform went live globally on Dec. 2 on time and on budget.
RWE now uses one global instance for all their entities in multiple countries (Germany, UK, Netherlands, Poland & Czech Republic), achieving their goal of having a lean, standardized and global ITSM solution for all. Aspediens applied its Agile and Pragmatic Approach and involved no less than 23 Aspediens consultants from 7 different countries to ensure a successful delivery.
In order to celebrate with all those involved (RWE, ServiceNow and Aspediens) we did not miss this opportunity to have a traditional – and totally branded – go-live cake with the whole team. Congratulations to the entire project team!
